Pressboard Folders -End Tab

Pressboard Folders

Pressboard Folders are more durable than standard color folders.  They are designed for large, bulky files that receive high use.  The sheen Pressboard Folders have is desired in professional settings, such as law firms.  The dividers inside the pressboard folders offer an easy way to separate documents.  The Tyvek accordion-style gusset allows for maximum strength for expansion. 

Choose amongst many selections of color pressboard folders.

 Type I Pressboard: (End Tab Only)

The Industry standard is Type I, 20 pt. Pressboard.  This product is the strongest, most durable of the pressboard family.  It has a distinctive mottle/marble appearance with a smooth, glossy finish.  Type I is chosen where superior durability and appearance is desired.  Type I Pressboard is a standard End Tab Folder style.
Package Type / Quantities
  • Quantities varies by # of dividers
    • 0-Dividers = 50 Folders Per Box
    • 1-Dividers = 50 Folders Per Box
    • 2-Dividers = 40 Folders Per Box
    • 3-Dividers = 30 Folders Per Box
Type II Pressboard:

 Type II, 25 pt. Guidex Pressboard is a versatile material used not only in office filing products but in a range of industrial applications.  It exhibits an intermediate range of hardness and density with an excellent finish and superior rigidity.
Folder Specs:
  • Fiber-mark Type I, Type II, & Type III pressboard
  • 18pt. manila stock (for manila pressboard folders)
  • 25pt. color stock (for color pressboard folders) 
  • 2" or 3" Expansion Gusset (2"exp for 1 or 2 divider, 3" for 3 divider)
  • Factory installed heat-bonded fastener (where applicable)
  • Color-coded strip labels to match your current filing system (please call)
  • Quantities very by # of dividers
Type III Pressboard:

 Type III, 25 pt. Valtex Pressboard is a functional grade pressboard and is found in a wide range of filing applications.  It has a good finish with excellent rigidity.  Type III is best used in high-volume applications where the desirable appearance of Type I or superior durability of Type II are not needed.
