The UniBinder 8.2 is a premium thermal binding system designed to grow with your print-finishing needs, handling everything from short reports to polished books up to 340 sheets.
It binds everyday reports, premium proposals, manuals, and books up to 340 sheets. Automatic crimping tightens the steel spine around the pages, producing a strong, polished, book-style finish with very little operator effort.
There is no hole punching and no comb, coil, or wire to insert. The 8.2 can heat up to eight smaller documents simultaneously and requires no warm-up, making it equally practical for an executive office or a busy production department.

Choose the cover by finished document thickness. The 340-sheet maximum is based on 20 lb. paper with a compatible 36 mm cover. Heavier paper, tabs, dividers, inserts, and laminated pages reduce the number of sheets that fit.
How to Bind a Document
- Choose the cover. Select the correct spine size, align the pages, and insert them fully into the cover.
- Heat the spine. Place the steel spine on either heating compartment. The binding cycle begins automatically.
- Crimp the document. When heating is complete, move the document to the automatic crimping compartment.
- Let it cool. Move the book to a cooling compartment and leave it upright until the resin has set completely.
That is the complete process: insert, heat, crimp, and cool. No punching, threading, or manual spine adjustment is required.

The UniBinder 8.2 includes a 1-year manufacturer warranty, subject to Peleman’s current written terms and warranty-authorization requirements. Optional extended replacement coverage may be available at the time of purchase.
