The FireKing Turtle 2-drawer filing cabinet is 27 3/4" high, 17 3/4" wide, and 22 1/8" deep, making this unit an even more compact, space-saving file cabinet, especially with the recessed handles. FireKing Turtle filing cabinets are meticulously engineered to offer the best asset protection, coupled with flexible filing capabilities for your most important letter or legal-sized documents. You can file letter files from front to back and legal from side to side. Side-to-side filing is possible by hanging one edge of the folder on the z-bar at the front of the drawer body and the other edge on the back of the drawer body. FireKing Turtle offers asbestos-free, dry insulations with an electrostatic powder-coated finish applied to the sides and bottom. The finish is scratch-resistant. Advanced Filing Concepts provides the FireKing Turtle in parchment, arctic white, or black colors which makes this unit easy to adapt to any setting. UL® Class 350 Certification

The FireKing insulated Turtle file cabinet has passed Class 350 certification requirements, approved by Underwriters Laboratories. The test is conducted by placing one of the file cabinets in a special oven that heats the unit to 1700 degrees for one hour. Then, the unit is hoisted 30 feet into the air and dropped to a concrete pad. The unit is then opened, and the contents cannot have fire damage. Thanks to the steel lattice reinforcement, FireKing offers impact protection on all sides of their fire-resistant cabinets.

A standard file cabinet will not save your documents. Paper burns at 400 degrees. Most structure fires burn much hotter than 400 degrees. The paper inside a standard fire cabinet will burn just as quickly as if the cabinet were not even there. The FireKing Turtle has exceeded fire requirements by attaining a UL class 350 license.

Fire and Impact Rating
The FireKing® Turtle® carries the Underwriters Laboratories® "Insulated Records Container" classification, which included a one-hour fire test of 1700° F, an explosion hazard test and a 30-foot impact test. A FireKing fireproof filing cabinet is designed to withstand temperatures exceeding normal fires. This video shows a standard filing cabinet and a FireKing filing cabinet, in an oven at 1500-degrees for 30 minutes, then dropped from a height of 3 stories to see what happens to its contents. The cabinets ate tested to withstand structural failures, such as ceiling collapses, floor cave-ins, walls falling down, etc. Non-fire rate cabinets have their contents disintegrated, while FireKing withstands.

Limited Lifetime Warranty
Limited lifetime warranty with free replacement after fire guarantee. Contact customer service for warranty terms and conditions. If mechanical parts of the vertical file cabinets break down with normal use, FireKing, at its option, repair or replace the defective parts to the original owner of the safe. Labor costs will be paid by FireKing for two years from the date of purchase with prior authorization. In the event that a FireKing File Cabinets is damaged in a fire, at any time while in possession of the original purchaser, Fire King will replace the cabinet free of charge, and ship it freight collect to the original owner.
